Colac’s Neil Thompson, Jean McArthur and Kevin Bagg will represent two Colac Ten-pin Bowling Association teams to contest Victorian Ten-Pin Bowling’s Senior Shield in Colac this weekend.

COLAC’S top senior ten-pin bowlers will chase their first state victory in four years this weekend.

More than 100 of Victoria’s best over-45 bowlers will converge on Colac’s Strikes and Spares this weekend for Victorian ten-pin bowling’s senior shield.

Colac will field one men’s and one women’s team of five to contest the two-day tournament chasing their first overall win since 2007.

Bowler Kevin Bagg said he expected Colac’s teams to be competitive against 10 other associations from across Victoria.

“I would think we’d be right up there, we should have won last year but we fell away a bit in the last game,” he said.
